Summary of Position:

MMC is looking for a dedicated Tank Cleaner in our Quality Assurance department to perform a variety of tasks while taking pride in their work. Under the direct supervision of the Lab Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing the inspection of finished products and properly maintaining equipment by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections of tanks to assess cleaning requirements and identify any damage or defects.
• Prepare tanks for cleaning by removing remaining materials, chemicals, or residues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE and ensuring proper ventilation.
• Utilize specialized equipment and cleaning agents to effectively remove contaminants from tank interior surfaces.
• Ensure cleaning meets quality standards and regulatory requirements through quality checks and testing samples.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules and report any issues or concerns.

Education/Experience:

• Prior work-related experience is preferred.
• Hi-Lo experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.

• Full-time, direct hire with wages that begin at $15/hr; additional shift premium for 3rd shift.
